Outdoor signage
We got a call to help The Coogee Diggers with signage to let people know that the club was indeed still open for business during a revamp of the lower section, new coffee shop and sports bar area.
So I suggested we do all the window exposures in “One way vision”. If you’ve seen buses around you will know this product. It allows a “Clear vision” when looking from inside the bus out but from the outside, you see the promotion advertised! This is a great product as it lets vision out and light in, perfect for any windows that are for viewing from inside or needed to let light in still but still allowing a notice for promotion or advertising to be seen by peeps on the outside. The one way vision worked a treat. (see pics)
Also, we had some alu-panel signs which were printed vinyl sign faces, then applied to 3mm alu panel aluminium.
The message promotions required one sign to show entry point door to pool area, which we mounted straight to that entry point door to pool area! The other to let people know of the good things the club had coming soon. This sign was installed, snugly fitted, to an area perfect for the advertisement required, with the signs in a clear exposed position for all to see when passing the Club.
Another part of the job included banners:
- One which we bordered with “sail track “ which is like a frame work for around the banner edges to give the banner a “snug” framed look and perfect fit for a wall mount (see pic).
- The other banner, “we are open“, this was strung between two flag poles, perfectly positioned at the club main entry point!
- We did some “banner Flag” signage for existing horizontal protruding poles.
We also suggested some 3d laser cut acrylic Letters, instead of just black vinyl letterings, for the “DIGGERS” sign above the Gym entry area,(see photo) in 8mm black acrylic to give the sign some “pop” because the 8mm protrusion from the face of the wall gives a stronger presence and a more prominent look than just using “flat“ black vinyl. Was a perfect solution to the sign for “Diggers”.
The Club now has lots of customers coming in because the signage did it’s job – letting people know that the club was indeed open for business during the sign fit!
